Optimism and Naivety

"I could be wrong, and I wish I am."
There is a problem I identified recently. But I don't see whether the others see it too. I am worried that sometimes people think they are trying to be optimistic, but in fact they are just being naive. There are differences between being optimistic and naive, though.
Optimistic people see the problem as something that can be easily solved, but they don't underestimate it. Naive people see the good things and ignore the underlying problem, or maybe they know there is a problem but they pretend like there's not.
Optimistic people see the opportunities and strengths that they can optimize to solve the threats and weaknesses, naive people see the opportunities and strengths as "gifts from God" that need to be thanked.
Optimistic people do something to fix the condition. Naive people do nothing and positively hope that the condition can be improved someday.
To think positively is okay, seriously. But don't close your eyes from the fact that there is a major problem that needs to be fixed.
