Okay. This is March 31 already, and I've finished this:
... but only the first chapter. Hehe. It's Supervisory Management: The Art of Inspiring, Empowering, and Developing People. Image from here.

I actually enjoy this book.Though I'm majoring in Accounting, I am really interested in Management. Especially after being in the Human Development Resources now, I feel that I need to learn more about "developing people". (Though I'm not yet a supervisor :p)

Memories

Today I'm a bit freak on blogging since this is weekend and I'm having a good internet connection. Teehee.

What I'm going to post here is actually a bit old. They're just some old stuffs that remind me of the past. Enjoy. :)

1. A "Top 50% High Achievement Menuju Olimpiade Sains Indonesia 2004" certificate

This one is a certificate I got when I joined a national science Olympics in Junior High School. Though I didn't win, I was one of the top 50% out of the whole participants. How many were the participants? I didn't really know. Haha. :D

2. Metro TV Debate Competition Prizes
The competition was held in University of Indonesia in 2011. I and my friend Tifara and By Carles were the runner up and each of us get this and some cash :)

3. An invitation to an economics seminar in Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia.
It was held in 2010. My Public Finance lecturer gave the invitation to me and 2 other friends from STAN. It was awesome and erudite :)

4. Awards from STAN English Club Farewell Party
The farewell party was held in 2011 and I got some awards : The Most Pretty (up), The Most Inspiring (bottom left), and The Most Lovely (bottom right). Teehee. My juniors in STAN EC were very cute. Hahaha. :)

Anyway, that's all I want to share today. All those beautiful memories remain in my head. I should make some new history :)

About My New Work Place

Seeing my old friends again from STAN... Alhamdulillah. Now 80 of us currently work in a notable supreme institution in Indonesia. (guess what? hehehe)

Among the 80 people, I and 13 others now work at the department of Human Resource Development, sub-department of Job Analysis and HRD Information System. We are handling all of the employee's file, including their submission file, their assignation, birth certificate, etc.
This is our first day training:

and I seriously found this file:

and I got this prize -Cadbury Milk- for being the fastest one that finish the filing:

Well, overall I enjoy my work and try my best. Feeling bored? Not yet... I have great friends, great seniors, great surroundings, great opportunities... :) I really hope that I can excel here. I want to give many contributions as big as possible. I believe we can. :)

Aaand, here we are in our office room:

Okay, actually this is only the permanent file locker. The real file lockers are in the other room, but unfortunately I forgot to take picture of them. More or less, they are shaped like this:

(If I'm not mistaken, Jalema is the exact producer of our file room & folder. Its head office is in Netherlands)

Okay, I guess that's all about my new work place. :)

Sakit Penghapus Dosa?

“Tidaklah menimpa seorang muslim kelelahan, sakit, kekhawatiran, kesedihan, gangguan dan duka, sampai pun duri yang mengenai dirinya, kecuali Allah akan menghapus dengannya dosa-dosanya.” (Muttafaqun alaih)

*ini copas lho dari sini :)

Jadi, kalau sakit, jangan sedih.

Freakonomics

Finally I've finished this book :)
Freakonomics is a book written by Seven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner discussing about many phenomena in the world and why they happened. This is a book with random themes. Levitt talks many things like the linkage between abortion and the decreasing of crime, the incentive vs. punishment, and black people's name and their success.
Anyway, it's a good book for refreshment. (I knoooow this is a bit latee for me to read this book because it was already published in 2005, but I personally think that the content is still relevant.)

I have promised to read 2 books in a month. Gotta catch up with the second book soon. :)
