Surprise in the morning time

This morning, when I was preparing myself in studying Principles of Law, a mail-officer came to my dorm-house. At that time, I was wondering... Who's sending me mail??
Ohoho... after I received this, I knew that the mail-sender was my best-friend-who-was-also-my-classmate-in-highschool, ICUL :D I remember, about a month ago she went on vacation in Bali... and I "beg" her a pair of sandals. Hurray!! Hihihii...
Pretty cute, right?thank's,dear :)

Doa Bersama Himasurya: Road to UAS 2009

(I'm the MC, by the way :D ; on the left: Ali)

We hope we will pass the exam... and we hope we will succeed...

Yesterday all members of Himpunan Mahasiswa Surabaya held "Doa Bersama". At the moment, there was a brief presentation about Himasurya Tour which will be held on April 25, a sharing-time with the seniors of Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara who have graduated from this academy, and of course the praying-time itself. Here we invited Ustadz Muchsinin. Thanx for coming, sir :)

From this event, I learn something. To make our dream come true, we have to see how much effort that we have done. Is our effort-for-all-this-time enough? If it isn't, so keep making effort --unless you are ready for failure--.
I also learn that if we want to succeed, there is an X-factor, which is up to God. After we make effort, we have to realize that actually the one who decide our success is God. Don't forget to pray, however your condition is.

(O yeaa! I want to say thanks to Deady Rizky for all those photographs :D)

Today

Today my class started at 6.30 AM... Haha. It's earlier than usual. Hoaahh. It started with English subject. I borrowed this book from my English lecturer:

I may write some English essay, so I think I need help from this book--to make a better quality of my essay. Hehe.

By the way, today I also got my campus' papers:

There are some of my friend Tulad's writing there!! :D I'm proud of her. Hehe.

This is not what I expected

65.

69.

They were not what I expected. I could have been better, actually.

Well, people make mistakes, so do I. People get failure sometimes, so do I. (Even Abraham Lincoln failed very often before he became US president...) I hope I can be better this time. Yes, I'm sure I can...
So can you, guys. Cheer up! :)

Enjoying an Afternoon With SEC's Conversation Club

Yesterday afternoon I got along with these incredible guys (in the making):

FYI, SEC is STAN English Club, an English club in my campus. They have a slogan, if I'm not mistaken: "We don't teach you English, we improve your English"
Well, one of their action to improve our--STAN students-- English is holding this conversation club. We are free to talk and share opinion, in English. No pressure to speak English perfectly. At least, you can talk. It's the first step to be more fluent and confident in speaking English, rite? :)
Btw, I really want to be able to speak and write in English fluently. It is very helpful to connect globally. Hihi. We can learn more. Many resources of knowledge (ex: books, articles, presentation slides) are presented in English. Also, we can share the opinion, knowledge, and culture from other persons abroad.
Writing in this blog in English is also one of my project to improve it. I'm sorry if there are still many mistakes in my writing, guys... I'm still learning :)

next project: learn terms and vocabulary used very often in politics and economics.

Yes, you can!

PS: We--SEC conversation club members and I-- also took some pictures of ourselves. Hehe. I can't upload them right now, but I promise they will be uploaded soon :D
These are I got from Reportase Pagi, a news program in Trans TV, this morning:

1. An old man committing suicide because he could not stand his throat's accute illness any longer.
2. A policeman shot his own head bacause he suffered a liver disease.

OhmaiGod... What did they think before committing suicide? Were there sooo many problems in life thet they can't handle, or were they actually killed--not committing suicide--? If the main reason of their action is option 1, I think they shouldn't have done that. Don't let the problem stressed you out. I believe there's always a good side behind a bad event. God is challenging us to make us a stronger human being. If you're committing suicide, it means that you are giving up, you are running from your resposibility. No, don't do that. Suicide don't solve anything. Besides, how are their family? They left their family alone, suffering because of their death. That's why, always think positive, guys. If you have some problem you can't solve by yourself alone, ask someone for a help, unless you want to end up like two men I've told you before... (naudzubillah)

Anyway, this is the third news:
3. 7,000 Broken paper of General Election 2009 are burned.
Geez, how many trees are suffered and thrown and become useless because of some major mistakes in printing and packing those paper? That's a pity x( We can learn something from this, anyway: when we do our project, do it carefully and don't get too hurry. How can we not get in a hurry? The answer is in the good preparation. For this kind of serious project, make sure we are well prepared, long-time before the D-Day.

Hoho. That's all. I want to go to college now. Have a nice day! Ciao!

Inspiring One ;)

A few hours ago, I blog-walked around and found a blog belonged to a 17-year-old girl. Her name is Tika Putri, who is becoming the ambassador of Sunsilk Queen Bee Hunt.
First thing I thought when I looked this blog: "lovely" :)
Then, I continued reading some of her posts, and started saying "Wow!".
She tells anything in her blog: her opinion about health, environment, politics, fashion, culture, celebrities, etc. I admire her way to write all of her ideas and experience. Very smart. Very understandable. Very inspiring. Look at one of her statements about PEMILU below:
Kita tunjukin dong kalo voting is not ridiculous.

Voting is caring! ... Pilihan kita menentukan. Jika ada seratus ribu remaja yang tidak menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan baik, it affects the election, of course. It affects the result.

But, are you sure? Is that what you want? Kalau gue pribadi, gue mau negara ini menjadi lebih baik. Dan gue, akan selalu percaya, bahwa hal sekecil apapun bisa membuat perubahan. Percaya deh. I’ll go find my Ketua RT right away. Make sure my name’s on the list, Sir.

And, her opinion about smoking:
...Gue nggak mau menasehati macam orangtua atau guru, guru-guru gue aja ngerokok. Tapi, please, value your health. Mumpung masih muda. Daripada nyesel pas udah tua? Nanti kolesterol lah, gula, apalagi kanker. Amit-amit deh...

Remember, we’re the only ones who can take a good care of ourselves.

I guess I'm not exaggerating when I say she should be one of the teenage role models. Hihi. You go, girl!
